General Meeting, February 9, 7:30 pm
350 BK’s new meeting location is Brooklyn Commons — 388 Atlantic Ave. at 7:30pm. The Commons is located between Hoyt and Bond Street, four blocks from Barclay’s Center. For those of you coming from directly from work, Brooklyn Commons has a café that sells a variety of beverages and light meals.
To defeat Trump’s war on the climate stay informed and organize! The featured speaker for 350BK’s monthly meeting is Jeremy Cherson from Riverkeeper who will update us on the planned Pilgrim Pipelines. Led by two former Koch Industries executives, the Pilgirm Pipelines will bring oil from Albany, NY to Linden, NJ, cutting through 31 municipalities. The 170 miles the pipelines will cover puts hundreds of streams, rivers, wetlands and forests at risk. Learn about the campaign to stop this pipeline before it starts.
