Next Meeting: Thursday, June 13th, 7:30 pm
Brooklyn Commons, 388 Atlantic Avenue
This is something you don’t want to miss. Margaret Klein Salamon, founder the director of The Climate Mobilization, will discuss the paradigm shift that is taking place in the climate movement—out with “gradualism,” in with “emergency mode”—and how the Green New Deal, school strikes, and other phenomena are propelling it forward. The Climate Emergency Movement advocates rapid decarbonization (zero emissions by 2030), through command-and-control policies, massive investment, and an all-hands-on-deck approach.
Come early to hang out with your fellow climate activists, meet with your campaign group, and enjoy a spread of food & drinks!
