The Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act, passed by the NY State Legislature in 2019, requires our state to move rapidly off fossil fuels – but the law can only reach its full potential if we also pass the Climate Community Investment Act. This new bill would make companies pay for their greenhouse gas emissions.
