“Facing the Future: Building Resilience to Climate in NYC” is a series of talks, workshops, tours, and conversations about building resilience in NYC in the face of the climate crisis.

Be part of 350Brooklyn’s work winning hearts and minds for the climate movement! We organize special events and field trips; identify topics and speakers for member meetings; create art, props and costumes for rallies and parades; and work with other groups to spread the word. We welcome your ideas and talents.

The Media Committee manages all 350BK communications: the website, newsletter, social media accounts, and produces press releases, fliers, articles and op-ed pieces.

The average American tosses between 300 - 700 plastic bags a year. Help us work to pass legislation in New York State to ban single-use plastics, and help educate consumers on alternatives.

The Legislation Committee keeps 350Brooklyn informed about relevant national, state and local legislation. This group works to develop ongoing relationships with our representatives to encourage them to become leaders in the fight for climate justice.

350Brooklyn Families is a place where we can come together and push for the cultural, societal and political changes we need to succeed in passing on a livable planet to our kids.
