Break Free Call to Action!!!
Ride the bus with New Yorkâs climate activists and be part of the next, historic global climate action: BreakFree Albany May 14, 2016.
All over the world, people will come together at a massive, legal demonstration and civil disobedience actions in May. In the Northeast, weâll descend upon the Port of Albany in New York, the biggest fossil fuel hub in the region. Weâll stand togetherâand many of us will âsit inâ in an act of civil disobedienceâto say NO to the âbomb trains,â barges and proposed pipelines carrying Bakken crude oil through our communitiesâŠ. NO to fracking and all fossil fuel infrastructure that pollutes our air and water and warm our planet. We say YES to renewable energy now!
Even if you choose not to risk arrest, we need massive turnout of people to show support with our signs and voices. This is our moment to break free from fossil fuels and make a just transition to clean, renewable energy. Letâs seize it.
